If you are reading Harry Potter with your class this will come in handy. From chapter one of this first book I have pulled ten spellings along with the line of text where they appear. A list of vocabulary builder words from this chapter is also included. The lesson involves reading the text (assigned as homework or in class) and going through the vocabulary (definitions included here as taken from the Oxford English dictionary). The homework involves learning the spellings. Flash cards of the spellings and vocabulary are also included. Please bear in mind these are UK spellings.
